How long does it take to see the results of Lipodissolve?

The visible results can be seen as early as 1-2 weeks, but final results are noticed at 6-8 weeks after the final treatment session.

Are there side effects of Lipodissolve?

After the injections, most people will develop redness and swelling in the treatment area and moderate discomfort. These symptoms are normal and are the most noticeable for the first 3 days after treatment.  Wearing compression after treatment helps with these side effects. (3,4,5) The swelling of the fat subsides after a few days, but it will feel firm for several days or sometimes weeks. Most people will resume regular activities, but the inflammation may prevent exercising or heavy work activities.

Is Lipodissolve FDA-approved?

Lipodissolve is not FDA-approved, however, each component of PC/DC is FDA-approved for other applications. The main substance in Lipodissolve, PC/DC, is made by a pharmacy, referred to as compounding.  The PC/DC is typically made by an FDA-registered 503a or 503b facility. (6,7) PC and DC are approved as drug carriers and were never FDA-approved together for the treatment of fat.  They are manufactured in a process called GMP or good manufacturing practice by an FDA-approved manufacturer.
